Our Code of Conduct


To:  Shepshed Dynamo Managers, Parents, Supporters and Friends

This club will be adopting an adult Code of Conduct at all home and away matches. We would like all our young players to enjoy playing football with their close friends without any added pressures

> Young People are not playing to satisfy your ambitions

> Young people are involved in sport for their enjoyment not yours

> You have a responsiblity to encourage young people to play by the rules

> Teamwork and effort are as important as winning

> Do not allow your winning side gloat over their victory

> You should accept losing without undue disappointment

> Never publicly question the referees decision,or doubt their honesty

> Help to remove all verbal, physical and racial abuse in any sport

> Recognise the value and importance of the coaches who give up their time to help young people

If you cannot abide by this code of conduct,then we would ask you not to watch our matches.Remember, so much hard work can be undone by one unsavoury incident. Be responsible, obey the code and allow everyone to enjoy the best game in the world.


To: Players

> Recognise the ability of all team members

> Never publicly call any player for mistakes made

> Help to improve and encourage all squad players

> Teamwork, effort and moral are as important as winning

> Do not allow your winning side gloat over their victory

> You have a responsiblity to play by the rules, never publicly question the referees decision, or doubt their honesty

> Help to remove all verbal, physical and racial abuse in any sport

> Recognise the value and importance of the coaches who give up their time to help young people

> All Players are involved in sport for their own enjoymenr and comradeship


To: Coaches

> Always be in a public and open place when working with children or young people. Where ever possible coaches/managers should work in pairs when involved with children or young people.

> Coaches must respect the rights, dignity and worth of every person and treat everyone equally within the context of their sport

> Coaches must place the well being and safety of each player above their own ambition and the players personal development and performance.

> Coaches must develop an appropriate working relationship with each player based on mutual trust and respect.

> Coaches should always promote the positive aspect of the sport (eg Fair play) and never condone rule violations.

> Coaches must encourage and guide players to accept responsibility for their own actions, behaviour and performance
