The Devon Music Education Hub are running a series of online workshops for the young people of Devon and Torbay throughout September and October on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

South Devon Youth Jazz are co-presenting an online workshop TOMORROW with guest tutor Jon Stokes.

Jon Stokes joins us for a fascinating workshop on jazz improvisation, suitable for experienced improvisers and those that are new to jazz – all instruments and levels of ability welcome!

Jon regularly performs with some of the country’s finest bands and orchestras, including The John Wilson Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra and The Heritage Orchestra. He has performed with exceptional musicians including Tony Bennett and Jamie Cullum, as well as bands including Bellowhead and Maximo Park. Jon is passionate about education; running workshops and masterclasses, teaching and taking rehearsals all over the country.
